FLUSHING — King Par LLC will hold the third annual King Par Classic for the benefit of the Flint Junior Golf Association, June 24, at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club.
This golf venue was the site of the PGA Tour Buick Open for 50 years. Now, many in the community will experience this pristine course while benefiting the worthy cause of the Flint Junior Golf Association.
This year’s event will feature an afternoon Pro/Am Handicapped Scramble, with lunch and a dinner featuring numerous silent auction and live auction items.
King Par is continuing to accept donations and corporate sponsorships, with levels ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 for major sponsorships and $300 for hole sponsorships. Major sponsors currently include Patsy Lou Williamson, Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney, Columbus Global, and King Par LLC.
The event will offer many exciting contests and awards; Men’s Longest Drive, Women’s Longest Drive, and Closest-to-the-Pin will all receive great prizes. There will also be a putting contest for the chance to win $10,000, sponsored by Patsy Lou Williamson.
Patsy Lou Williamson is also offering participants the chance to win a new car should they obtain a hole in one on Hole 17.
