Kroger plans Oct. 24 grand re-openings




GENESEE COUNTY — Customers will find a new look and a convenient new layout at four Kroger stores in the Flint-surrounding area.

The newly remodeled stores, along with an additional eight Kroger stores in the Flint area, will host an open house on Oct. 24 from 1-7 p.m. and invites the community to join them in the celebration of the grand re-openings.

The first 300 customers to arrive at each Kroger store will receive a free reusable grocery bag and a $10 Kroger gift card.

The following Kroger stores will celebrate a grand re-opening: Burton store: 1200 E. Bristol Rd.; Flint store: G-3288 Corunna Rd.; Flint store: G- 5249 Corunna Rd.; and the Mt. Morris store: 7188 N. Saginaw St.

The following Kroger stores will participate in the grand re-opening celebrations: Davison store: 7000 N. State St.; Grand Blanc store: 12731 Saginaw St.; Flint store: 5186 Fenton Rd.; Flint store: 3838 Richfield Rd.; Flint store: 2629 W. Pierson Rd.; Flint store: 1916 Davison Rd.; Flushing store: 1542 E. Pierson Rd.; and the Swartz Creek store: 7084 Miller Rd.

Customers are encouraged to visit a renovated Kroger store to experience the updated departments and new features, including shelving, lighting, floors and cheerful décor.

The revamped Kroger stores offer an improved store layout with an attractive environment to create a more enjoyable shopping experience for its customers.

Shoppers may also utilize the updated in-store pharmacy, which gives customers the convenience to fill prescriptions seven days a week.
