FLINT — Quinisha Burnett bowled a 267 game, on top of a 216, but it wasn’t enough, as Carman-Ainsworth lost to No. 1-ranked Davison, 22-7, in the final Big Nine Conference match of the year last Saturday at Richfield Bowl.
Kenzey Lord added 219-227, Brandy Fay rolled a 169 and Kassidy Lord added a 167 for the Cavaliers.
Carman-Ainsworth now turns its attention to the state tournament, with a Div. 1 regional Friday and Saturday at Pro Bowl in Lansing. Burnett carries a 198 average into the postseason, Kenzey Lord is at 193 and Kassidy Lord at 160. Quinton Burnett, Parker Zellar, Nick Davis and B.J. Williams have had big games for the boys’ team.
