FLINT TWP. — Carman-Ainsworth hosted Linden last Wednesday, falling to the Eagles in both ends of the twinbill, 10-7 and 13-1. Kristin Hawk was 1-for-3, Micala Garrison went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Makayla McDaniels added an RBI. In the nightcap, Taylor Jarnigin recorded the only RBI.

The Cavaliers will take on Swartz Creek on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the district playoff semifinal at Swartz Creek. Kearsley faces Flushing in the other semifinal at noon. The championship game is at 2 p.m. — B.P.
