Lady Cavs shut out by Powers

FLINT – The Carman-Ainsworth girls’ soccer team swallowed a 10-0 loss to Powers at Atwood Stadium on Monday.

Last Saturday, the Cavaliers were at the Birch Run Tournament, opening with a 2-0 loss to the host Panthers. Their second game ended in a 1-1 draw with North Branch as Destinee Lester buried the Cavs’ only goal of the game, assisted by Jasia Caldwell. The finale was a 4-0 loss to Saginaw Valley Lutheran.

Carman-Ainsworth hosts Flushing today and is at Lake Fenton tomorrow. – B.P.
