SOUTHFIELD – The Carman- Ainsworth girls’ basketball team was handed its first loss of the season, losing 56-47 at Southfield Arts and Technology on Tuesday. Carman-Ainsworth started the season off 11-0 before the loss.

Chenelle King led the Cavaliers with 16 points. DeDe Smith added 12 points.

Carman-Ainsworth, 11-1, is at Grand Blanc on Friday.
