FLINT TWP. — About 42 properties in Flint Township are among hundreds of properties in Genesee County on a list to be auctioned off next Wednesday.

The Michigan Public Land Auction is a no-reserve auction with minimum bids starting at $100, according to information provided by the Genesee County Treasurer’s Office.

The auction is scheduled to begin at noon Oct. 23 at the Gateway Center, 5353 Gateway Centre in Mundy Twp. Registration will be at 11:30 a.m.

There will be no online or absentee bidding. Bidders must be present at the sale and must also meet other purchase criteria.

Properties may be removed from the posted list before the auction but the tentative list of properties in Flint Township includes a former medical clinic on Flushing Road with a stateequalized value of $78,500. A threebedroom house on Old Colony has the highest residential SEV of $56,400. Two vacant parcels on Boulder Drive in the Flagstone Pointe have SEVs of $10,000 each.

 

 

Other higher valued properties include a commercial parcel on Lennon Road valued at $79,800 and on Graham Road with an SEV of $39,300.
