FLINT – The Lapeer hockey co-op (Lapeer, LakeVille, North Branch, Almont) thoroughly dominated in a 9-0 win over Pride (Flushing, Swartz Creek, Goodrich) at Iceland Arena on Saturday.

Thomas Manko got things started for Lapeer, lighting the lamp with the help of Mason Cooper and Liam Nass before Zach Hudson buried one, assisted by Cooper. Manko got his second goal of the night from Cooper and Jakub Sutherby got in on the fun with an unassisted tally. Cooper closed out the first-period scoring.

In the second, Manko finished off the hat trick from Cooper and Dawson Goodwin fired one home, also assisted by Cooper. Ian Swanger tickled the twine, assisted by Mike Mozola and CJ Harris’ tally on a feed from Cooper was the last goal of the night.

There was no need for a third period due to mercy rule.
