Croudy right choice for MCC board
My letter is one of endorsement of the candidate Lenore Croudy for Mott Community College Board of Trustees. In my judgment she is not only a worthy candidate, but also a most powerful one. She has served well during her years as a board trustee and chairperson. Under the leadership of Lenore on the board, the college has yielded many great fruits: a substantial increase in student services; more course offerings; a sharp rise in the number of young men and women attending the community college for life-changing careers. She is committed to her community. Leaders like Lenore are interested in building good citizens, educating future leaders and making a difference.
At the core of this upcoming Mott Community College Board of Trustees election is the need for the community to elect someone with a vision rooted in improving others and sustaining their community. Lenore is not one to stand on the sidelines, but will stand and deliver. Indeed, it has been my experience that Lenore’s service on the board only strengthens and enhances what we are in need of doing for our youth. She simply loves young people and sees what they can become and how investment in them is a contribution to society.
Therefore I am casting a vote for Lenore Croudy on May 3 for Mott Community College Board of Trustees. The college could not have finer representation. Please join me in re-electing her to serve on the Mott Community College Board of Trustees. — Father James Bettendorf, Flint
Re-elect Croudy to MCC board
My letter is in support of candidate Lenore Croudy for Mott Community College Board of Trustees on May 3. I strongly believe that Lenore continues to be a viable trustee on the board and her hard work merits re-election to the board. I have enjoyed working with her tremendously on the board. She is a broad thinker and a doer. Under her tenure as chairperson of the board we have worked closely with all our stakeholders to transform the presence of the college into the 21st century for our young people by providing strong leadership that enables the college to have quality programs and services. She works well with others and believes in teamwork.
Lenore has integrity and takes her position on the board seriously. She truly understands what it means to be a board member. It is important that board members not only be committed to serve, but must understand their role and responsibilities. Organizations flourish when they have great leadership. it is great leaders that move organizations from “good to great.” Lenore is a great leader.
Therefore I am casting a vote for Lenore Croudy on May 3 for Mott Community College Board of Trustees. — Al Koegal, Flint
