Local ski areas partner with McDonald’s

GENESEE COUNTY — Michigan McDonald’s and 25 ski areas across the state have teamed up to offer Discover Michigan Skiing & Snowboarding. The program includes a beginner lesson, ski or snowboard rental equipment and a beginner-area ski lift pass or crosscountry trail pass. The program, which will be honored until Jan. 31, is $30 for downhill skiing, $20 for cross-country skiing and $40 for snowboarding.

To sign up, interested beginners must have a Discover Michigan Skiing & Snowboarding Value Voucher, available at participating Michigan McDonald’s restaurants and MSIA retail ski stores while quantities last. A printable voucher, and a list of ski facilities that offer the program, is available online at www.goskimichigan.com. Mt. Holly in Groveland Township and Pine Knob Resort in Clarkston are among the resorts participating. — G.G.
