The Ice Mountain Figure Skating Club competed Aug. 7 at the Muskegon Lakeshore Summer Freeze Competition. Placing (l-r) were front row: Emily Graves of Burton, first in Basic 3 Elements and Program; Vanessa Kish of Columbiaville, third in Beginner Program; Renae Padgett of Flint, third in Well Balanced No Test Program; Back Row: Natalie Polehna of Davison, second in Basic 1 Elements and first in Program; Regina Fowler of Grand Blanc, first in Pre-Preliminary Program and Emma Lavelle of Burton, first in Basic 4 Elements and Program. The team skates at Ice Mountain Arena in Burton and now focuses on their own upcoming Michigan Basic Skills Competition on Saturday, Sept. 25. Entry deadline is Sept. 1.
