Man shot and killed outside apartment complex

FLINT TWP. — Police are investigating the cause behind a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in Flint Township.

On March 29 at approximately 9:10 p.m., officers with the Flint Township Police Department were dispatched to the 1700 building of Sunridge Apartments on Flushing Road for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old male victim lying near the building with gunshot wounds. The victim died at the scene from his wounds.

Investigators are seeking information from witnesses or anyone who may have further details to assist in identifying any involved persons in the shooting.

The Flint Township Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Michigan State Police, City of Flint Police Department, Genesee County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police – Bridgeport Crime Lab.
