FLINT TWP. — Looking to get your grub on, only to find the doors closed and dark at Mancino’s Pizza and Grinders in its familiar location of 10 years at Oak Brook Shopping Center on Linden Road?
Never fear. It hasn’t closed for good. The restaurant has moved a few doors down the road to the Mill Creek Shopping Center, anchored by the Gander Mountain store and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.
Mancino’s is now located next door to Ollie’s, sharing a portion of a 33,636 square-foot big box space previously occupied by a Furniture Express Store and originally by a Sears Homelife furniture store built circa 1987.
It is the third Flint Township location for the popular sandwich shop. It was formerly located on Miller Road near I-75 freeway in a building that was razed and replaced by the building now occupied by Starbucks. Mancino’s’ moved to Oak Brook Square in April 2004.
