MCC Brand Anthem wins national Telly Award

FLINT — Mott Community College’s (MCC) brand anthem video “Ready For More” has won a bronze award in the 39th Annual Telly Awards, which honor excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television and streaming networks, agencies, and production companies including Vice, Vimeo, Hearst Digital Media, and BuzzFeed. MCC won bronze in the category of Local Television: General for colleges and universities.

MCC’s brand anthem features a fastpaced, whirlwind tour of classrooms and labs, with actual students, alumni and faculty showing how a Mott education offers more options, more opportunities and more possibilities. The final “Are YOU Ready For More?” echoes the College’s new look.

Director of the Telly Awards. “This award is a tribute to the talent and vision of its creators.”

“We love our new brand anthem,” said Dale Weighill, Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement at MCC. “Winning a Telly is confirmation that we have really captured the dynamism and excitement on campus as we prepare our students for their futures in the 21st Century global economy.”
