FLINT — College shopping is made easy at the Mott Community College (MCC) 33rd Annual Regional College Fair Oct. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the main campus at 1401 E. Court Street in Flint. There will also be a Transfer Fair for currently enrolled MCC students from 1 to 3 p.m.
Representatives from dozens of colleges and universities from Michigan, as well as out-of-state, will be on hand to discuss admission requirements, programs of study, financial options and student life on their campuses. MCC divisions will showcase their programs including the Regional Technology Center, Culinary Arts, Criminal Justice, Fine Arts, and Cosmetology.
Students will be able to shop for the right college and find out which have the programs they want, how to finance their education, as well as how easy it is to transfer credits from MCC to just about anywhere. Whether students are getting ready to graduate high school, re-boot a career or are ready to take the next step in their education, the MCC Regional College Fair is the place to find the information needed to proceed.
Special offerings from MCC include a Financial Aid Workshop at 7 p.m. in the Event Center, presented by the MCC Financial Aid Office, and information about dual enrollment at MCC for high school students interested in getting a jump start on their college career.
