MCC music program offers virtual open houses for Music majors

FLINT — The Music Program at Mott Community College (MCC) is hosting a series of Virtual Open Houses to give students in a professional Music career an opportunity to learn more about MCC Music degree programs, including music performance, music education or music technology.

The Music Department at Mott Community College offers a comprehensive two-year collegiate music program designed to fulfill the freshman and sophomore requirements needed to transfer to four-year colleges and universities.

“Attending one of the Virtual Open Houses is a great way to get first-hand information about how to audition, what materials are needed and how our transfer program works with our valued partners, Saginaw Valley State University and the University of Michigan-Flint,” said Dr. Townes Miller, Professor and Coordinator of Music at MCC.

The virtual open house and video tour will address:

• Degree programs

• Ensemble and performance groups

• Paying for college

• How to prepare for Auditions

• The MCC Music Fellows program

Virtual open houses for the Music Program will be held:
