Current and prospective students can learn about high demand Health Science career programs available at MCC, including occupational Associate degree pathways, transferrable degrees, certificates of achievement and alternative training programs during the orientation/information session.
Health Science careers covered include:
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Physical Therapist Assistant
Physical Education, and
Participants will be able to tour the 6,000-square foot Health Sciences lab facility featuring the SIM manikins used in hands-on lab classes. “We use a lot of simulation manikins in Health Sciences programs here at Mott College,” said Malinda Burnash, Skills Lab Support Specialist. “This type of hands-on learning builds skills faster and facilitates the move from theory to practice for our students,” she added.
