FLINT — The Mott Community College (MCC) Fine Arts Gallery in the Visual Arts and Design Center will present an exhibition of ceramic works by Saginaw-area artist and educator Ben Clore titled Switching Gears, Exploring Slip Cast Functional Ware. In addition, Clore will give a public presentation about his work on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. in the Visual Arts and Design Center, room 129. The public is invited.

Ben Clore is currently Associate Professor of Art at Delta College, University Center, Michigan where he teaches Ceramics and 3-Dimensional Design. He received a MFA from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan and a BA in Art, Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The Fine Arts Gallery is located in room 128 of the Visual Arts and Design Center on Mott Community College’s main campus in Flint, at 1401 E. Court St. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The exhibitions and presentations are free and open to the public.
