SWARTZ CREEK
— Customers who patron the Swartz Creek McDonald’s will soon enjoy a newly-renovated location. The fast-food restaurant, located at 4237 Elms Rd., currently is undergoing renovations to its dining room, and is one of many major remodels of McDonald’s restaurants planned across the United States.

Along with a contemporary design and more convenient services, McDonald’s recently added an additional lane to its drive-thru, allowing for quicker service. The dining room is closed for the interior remodeling, but the drivethru will remain open for business with the exception of a few days before its scheduled reopening. The tentative date for McDonald’s to reopen its dining room is Jan. 4.

“We realize that it will be inconvenient for some customers during the building process,” said Kristin McDevitt, restaurant manager. “We apologize for this inconvenience.”
