FLINT — Shopping and giving just naturally go together during the holidays.
Nearly 300 area residents had a chance to do both at a special Season’s Treatings event on Dec. 4 at the Hospitality House at McLaren — Flint.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Nights of Hope Fund at the Hospitality House. This Fund will provide housing for cancer patients receiving treatment at the McLaren Proton Therapy Center, slated to open in 2014.
The Season’s Treatings event, chaired by Laurie Incarnati and Patti Kooy, featured more than 20 area vendors along with holiday entertainment, refreshments, wine and beer tasting, a cooking demonstration, makeovers, a silent auction and more.
