FLINT — McLaren Flint’s Case Management team is hosting its annual “Community Resource Day” on Oct. 10.
In these tough economic times, Case Managers and Social Workers are an even more vital link between patients and the community resources they need for a range of health care needs.
To bring these resources together in one place McLaren’s Case Management Department is holding its annual Community Resource Day at McLaren Flint in the Ballenger Auditorium, 401 S. Ballenger Highway, Flint.
Representatives from various health related resources on hand from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
For McLaren’s employees, patients, visitors and the general public to take advantage of. Agencies already committed to take part include: McLaren Health Management Group, MedStar Ambulance; McLaren Advance Care Planning, Disability Network, Valley Area Agency on Aging, Genesee County Health Department, Genesee Health System, Alternative Elder Care, McLaren Outpatient Coumadin, Wound and Diabetic education clinics, The Lodges of Durand, Department of Veteran’s Services Outreach Program, United Way, Legal Services of Eastern Michigan, Visiting Physicians Association, Hart Medical, Families Against Narcotics, Building Stronger Women, and Caretel Inns of Linden. — G.G.
