MUNDY TWP. — The Charter Township of Mundy will hold a Community Development Citizen Needs hearing at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at the township Administration Building, 3478 Mundy Ave.
The purpose of the hearing is to offer an opportunity for citizens to express their ideas of community needs and project proposals concerning use of the Federal Community Development Block Grant funds for the 2022-2024 program years.
The Charter Township of Mundy expects to receive about $101,943 in CDBG funds for the program years listed. The funds are provided by the Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission Community Development program from an annual entitlement grant received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The funds are intended primarily for projects in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. — L.R.
