— The 4th Annual Interdenominational Christian Men’s Community Prayer Breakfast is 9 a.m. Oct. 30 in the Family Life Center of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd. For the event, attendees will hear from Ken Nash, teaching pastor at Cornerstone Church in Caledonia, Mich.
Nash, who is passionate about his faith and love for people, has taught at several conferences around the Midwest and consulted a dozen churches. “His greatest passion is to help people to live each moment to its fullest potential. His ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking will challenge your assumptions and will encourage your heart to come fully alive in Christ,” according to a press release. Nash will speak issues that Christian men face on a daily basis, such as marriage, fatherhood, leadership, accountability, listening and following the call that God has planned for one’s life.
Cost to attend the breakfast is $9 per person. For tickets, call Swartz Creek United Methodist Church at 810-635- 4555 or First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek at 810-635-7016. All proceeds to go support youth missions and Christian education. — Natalie Blythe
