GENESEE COUNTY — New voter registration cards for all registered voters in the township were mailed out last week by the township’s clerk’s office. New cards were necessary because of redistricting precinct changes and to better serve voters’ needs for handicapped accessibility, ample parking, adequate space and limited disruption of daily operations at polling sites. Voting sites have changed for all township voters, beginning with the Aug. 7 primary election. The four new polling locations are assigned according to precinct. You will be voting at one of the following locations: West Flint Church of the Nazarene, 2254 S. Dye Rd.; VFW Post 3087, 4138 Corunna Rd.; Our Lady of Lebanon Church, 4133 Calkins Rd.; or the Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd. Clerk Kim Courts asks voters to pay close attention to your new polling place listed on the voter registration card that should have been received in the mail by now. The information also is posted on the township’s website at www.flinttownship.org or by contacting Courts at 810-600-3212. — R.S.
