Hunter Safety Education. Sponsored by the DNRE and
Carman-Ainsworth Community Education at
CarmanAinsworth Middle School. Sign up at the door the
first night by 5:30 p.m. Class runs 6- 9:30 p.m.
Course includes hunting laws, ethics and hunter responsibilities,
first aid, bow and arrow and gun hunting safety, survival and range work. Students must be 12 years old or older. Adults are welcome. Students must attend all classes to receive certification. Bring paper, pencil and $10 fee
to the first class. DO NOT bring hunting weapons to class.
Saturday class will be held at Grand Blanc Huntsman club.

ONGOING Feral hog harvesting. Licensed hunters and landowners may take feral hogs at any time. Hunters or individuals with concealed carry permits may take swine running loose on public land or on private land with landowner permission. Landowners may take hogs on their property at any time.
