MUNDY TWP. — As Mundy Township officials forge ahead in the further development of the new Mundy Miracle Commons park, they are assembling a group of volunteers to help with various projects.
“We are developing a group called Common Friends,” said township Supervisor Tonya Ketzler. “It’s a volunteer group to help with the park, whether it’s weeding, leading tours, feeding birds and cleaning out the bird houses … whatever your niche is, whatever you’d like to do. It could be gardening, maybe you’d like to work on the butterfly and bird gardens.”
Eventually, volunteers will be needed to hand out shuffleboard and horseshoe equipment, or other gear for small games that will have a space in the park sometime down the road.
