FLINT TWP. — Catsup goes with mustard. Salt goes with pepper. Wine goes with cheese. Hmmm. What side item goes well with a car dealership? How about a gas station and car wash?

Voila! Patsy Lou’s Express Stop, a new BP gas station and car wash on Corunna Road at Eggleston Avenue, has opened. Located across the street from Patsy Lou Buick GMC, it is the dealership’s newest business venture.

“We are offering our customers .03 cents off a gallon and free car washes,” said Andrea Olson, a spokesperson, noting that the gas discount and car wash offer are for customers who purchase a vehicle from the Pasty Lou dealership.

A Grand Opening is being planned but no date is set yet, she said.

The business is owned by dealership owners Larry White, Don and Patsy Lou Williamson and by Corrigan Oil Co. of Brighton, Michigan, according to a press statement. The management team is Express Stop, a Saginaw-areabased network of retail convenience stores serving Mid-Michigan, including a gas station at 3930 Corunna Road near Ballenger Highway.

Approximately five people have been hired to operate the gas station and car wash. The business is open to the public and drawing more customers daily, according to the press statement.
