FLINT TWP. – A 59-year-old Flint man died when a car struck him late Sunday on Interstate 75 in Flint Township. Police say the man had stepped out of his car, which was parked partially in a northbound travel land just south of Corunna Road, and was standing in the roadway when he was struck just before 11:40 p.m. A 27-year-old Flushing resident was driving the vehicle that struck him. Police did not release names of the people involved but said it did not appear that alcohol or speed were factors. Crash investigators continue to piece together the details of how the crash unfolded.
