Peppin is the most qualified candidate for county commissioner

As a Genesee County retiree, I have firsthand knowledge of the importance of who is elected to serve as our county commissioner. The position requires someone with the education, knowledge of local government, and practical life and employment experiences to serve effectively.

Gary Peppin is that person! Gary’s life experiences have provided him with the important “tools” necessary to effectively serve and represent the residents of District 9 as our county commissioner.

He is a graduate of Davison Schools 1974, Michigan State University achieving a B.A. in Economics, and has worked for 36 years in the area if business management. Gary is active in his church having served in important leadership roles. He volunteers at the North End Soup Kitchen and is a mentor at Pierce Elementary School.

I have personally known Gary for many years and served with him on the Davison City Council. Gary is a person of honesty, integrity, and commitment. During his tenure on council he served in the capacity of co-chair of the committee to re-develop and modernize the downtown area, as well as serving on the policy committee. He also worked as a team with other council members to develop a capital improvement plan for the City of Davison and supported and assisted in efforts to stabilize and save the water department to prevent bankruptcy.

While a member of the Davison City Council, Gary was a member of the Small Cities and Villages Association, serving as chairperson for one year.

Please consider supporting Gary Peppin for County Commissioner.

He will represent all residents of District 9 with Honesty, Integrity and Commitment!

Gary is qualified and prepared to assume the seat on the Genesee County Board of Commissioners on “Day One.” — Joan Snyder, Davison
