Pink Night Palooza giving continues

FLINT — The second annual Pink Night Palooza took place on Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Holiday Inn Gateway Center in Flint with more than 500 guests attending and while the event may be over, the opportunity to give back is not, as many businesses are still fundraising for the cause.

Below is a list of businesses keeping the fun alive all month long.

During the month of October, for every new patient that starts orthodontic treatment, Dr. Wax Orthodontics, in downtown Linden will donate $100 back to the Hurley Medical Center Breast Cancer Navigator Program. Free Consultations, 810-458-6188.

Serendipity Wellness Spa is donating 10 percent from each pink pedicure. 810-735-6868

Halo Burger is donating a $1 from every Beefy Double Combo sold in October. All locations

Insta-Lube is donating $10.39 from oil changes performed on October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. In Flint on Flushing Rd. and Linden Rd. In Burton on Saginaw St. and Center Rd.

During the Month of October Cops & Robbers will Make a donation to the Hurley Breast Cancer Navigation Fund for every pink treat purchase. 323 E Main St. Flushing, 810-202-1001

Pink Night and Pink Palooza were two of the Flint area’s most popular breast cancer fundraiser events. In 2016, Financial Plus Credit Union and Hurley Medical Center joined forces and combined their breast cancer fundraising events into one huge annual bash. All of the funds raised benefit patients in Hurley’s Breast Cancer Patient Navigator Program to alleviate some of the financial and emotional burdens of recovery.
