FLINT – Pink Night Palooza is the ultimate night out, and everyone’s invited to participate in one of the most dynamic breast cancer fundraisers around, raising money and celebrating a wonderful cause for the annual event. Just as pink has become a nationwide symbol of empowerment, Pink Night Palooza, hosted tonight at the Holiday Inn & Gateway Centre, gives you the power to change lives right here in Genesee County.
The original Pink Night fundraiser was started in 2007 by employees of Financial Plus who had a passion for raising awareness and monetary funds for those affected by breast cancer. In 2015, Financial Plus raised a net of $69,000 for American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (gross of $77,000). Last year, about 500 people attended the first Pink Night Palooza presented by Hurley Medical Center and Financial Plus Credit Union, raising thousands of dollars for this wonderful cause.
Pink Night Palooza event will be held at the Holiday Inn & Gateway Centre in Flint, and is scheduled for Today, Oct. 5 from 5-11 p.m. For more information, or to purchase tickets for Pink Night visit their website at www.hurleymc.com/pink. -Alex Petrie
