Police seek witnesses to fatal crash
FLINT TWP. — On Tuesday, September 8 at 4:20 p.m., police responded to a personal injury accident at the intersection of West Court Street and South Graham Road.
Barbara Horton, 67, a Flint Township resident, was fatally injured in the accident. The driver of the other vehicle, a 37-year-old Flint man, was not injured.
Alcohol did not appear to be a factor. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Cash store robber sought
FLINT TWP. — On Thursday, September 3 at about 11:38 a.m., police were dispatched to the Cash Store, 4189 Corunna Road, for an armed robbery. The suspect allegedly approached and pointed a handgun at the clerk, demanding that she hand over the money in the register. The suspect left in a vehicle last seen eastbound on Corunna Road.
The suspect is described as a black male dressed as a female, about 18-23 years old, approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 inches tall, 140-150 pounds with a mustache. The suspect was wearing a black wig, aviator sunglasses and a black and blue Church’s Chicken hat, gray hoodie and an orange T-shirt.
The suspect entered the Cash Store about 30 minutes prior to the robbery wearing different clothing. The clothing previously worn is described as a white tank top with silver sequins, white jacket, aviator sunglasses and a wig.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as an early 2000’s gold or tan Mercury Sable. At the time of the robbery, the vehicle had a stolen plate, which has since been recovered.
