Flushing man killed in Bristol Road crash
FLINT TWP. — Britton Maddox, a 57-yearold Flushing man, was fatally injured on Friday, October 23, in an accident on West Bristol Road, according to a press release.
At 3:21 p.m, Flint Township police officers responded to an area of W. Bristol Rd. west of Bishop Airport for a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. An eastbound vehicle reportedly crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the westbound vehicle driven by Maddox.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle, identified as a 30-year-old Flint Township woman was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

Pedestrian hit by car
FLINT TWP. — On Saturday, October 24, at approximately 9:47 p.m., Flint Township Police responded to an accident involving a pedestrian who had been struck by a car on West Pasadena Avenue near O’Leary Road.
Initially police sought help identifying the victim who was described as black female in her mid-20s to early 40s with a tattoo on her right forearm that appeared to say “Misheak.” She has since been identified by an individual who recognized the tattoo, police said.
She is receiving medical care at a hospital. Her name was not released but she is said to be age 26 and from Jackson, Mississippi.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian stopped and is cooperating with police. The accident still remains under investigation.
