Twp. police investigating stabbing of S.C. teen

FLINT TWP. — On November 19, at 7:15 p.m. Flint Township Police responded to McLaren Flint hospital to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 14-year-old Swartz Creek male, had arrived at the hospital with stab wounds. He was later transferred to Hurley Medical Center where he underwent surgery and is currently listed in stable condition.

The investigation revealed that the victim was meeting a known subject at Genesee Village Apartments in Flint Township. An argument ensued and the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times. Four unknown subjects transported the victim to McLaren. The subjects dropped off the victim at McLaren and immediately left. driving an older dark colored Pontiac Sunfire.

Police are currently looking for Juan Luis Gutierrez, a Hispanic male, 16, who is described as a person of interest in this case.
