Police investigate deadly crash involving pedestrian

FLINT TWP. — Flint Township Police are investigating a crash that left a man dead on W. Bristol Road.

On Nov. 21 at 9 p.m., officers from the Flint Township Police Department responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on W. Bristol Road, west of Fenton Road. The pedestrian, Gregory Guelette, a 45-year-old City of Flint resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene after being struck by a motor vehicle.

An initial investigation revealed that Guelette was in the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Grand Blanc Township resident. Investigators said that alcohol and speed do not appear to be a factor in the crash. The driver is cooperating with the investigation.
