FLINT TOWNSHIP — The Flushing/Carman-Ainsworth co-op hockey team put some goals on the board, however, they lost to the Tri- Valley Titans, 8-3, at Flint Iceland Arena on Saturday.
Tri-Valley led the game, 2-1, after the opening period and held a 6-2 lead after two frames. The Titans then outpaced Flushing, 2-1, in the final stanza.
Joe Montpas scored the first two goals and Austin Phillips was responsible for the Raiders’ final tally. Tony Bryan made 30 saves for Flushing.
The Raiders were shut out by Powers Catholic, 11-0, last Wednesday. The Chargers scored five times in the first period and added six more in the second in the mercy-ruled game. Bryan made 20 saves.
