GENESEE COUNTY — Registration is open for the 63rd Annual Flint Regional Science & Engineering Fair that will be held March 15-17, on the campus of Kettering University in Flint.
FRSF is a great way for kids in grades 4-12 from Genesee and 7 neighboring counties to the east, north and west, to be engaged in science/ STEM inquiry outside of school, and to be rewarded for their efforts. It is fun planning and doing the projects, and great experience presenting projects to the judges who are eager to learn about student ideas and interests.
FRSF is our regional fair affiliated with the INTEL International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) and the Broadcom MASTERS competition for middle school students. Five Senior Division students win all-expense paid trips to ISEF.
Other FRSF prizes include scholarships and gift cards. Special Award Sponsors present an additional 150 awards based on their criteria. FRSF also recognizes a “Teacher of the Year”.
