Rep. Martin seeks input from Genesee County business owners

DAVISON TWP. — State Rep. David Martin invites local business owners to attend a roundtable discussion Aug. 23.

Martin, of Davison, is interested in gathering input from small businesses about how state government can better serve them.

“I know there are many burdensome regulations that stand in the way of our local businesses,” Martin said. “This is an opportunity to flag problems you have run into with state government, discuss the impact of the COVID-19 economic shutdown, and share any ideas you might have for creating a more welcoming environment where new and existing businesses can thrive.”

The roundtable will begin at 10 a.m. Aug. 23 at the Davison Township Hall, 1280 N. Irish Road.

Martin represents Michigan’s 48th District, which includes the communities of Clio, Davison, Montrose and Otisville, as well as the townships of Davison, Forest, Genesee, Montrose, Richfield, Thetford and Vienna.
