Rescue 911 events teach Genesee County kids about safety



FLINT – Hurley Medical Center, the region’s only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, Stat EMS, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department, Genesee County Parks and Recreation and the city of Fenton have teamed up to teach kids ages 8-12 valuable safety lessons during free events throughout Genesee County.

Activities include:

• Police and Fire Vehicle Tours

• Bike and Helmet Safety

• Fire Prevention and Fire Safety

• Ambulance Tours and First Aid

• Wellness Information

• FREE Materials for Kids

• Free Lunch and Fitness Fun

Events scheduled 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (8:30 a.m. Registration) on the following dates/locations:

Monday, June 19 at Clio City Park – 402 N. Mill St. Clio

Wednesday, June 21 at Bush Park – entrance on Jefferson St. next to St. John Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide Rd. Fenton.
