The Cavalier boys finished fourth with 90 points at the Bauman Cavalier Classic last Thursday. Lake Fenton was first with 44, Goodrich was second with 49, Swartz Creek was third with 50 and Kearsley was fifth with 102.

Juwan Willis was 11th in 20:31.6. Anthony Fisher was 14th in 20:58.7. Wyatt Pangerl was 20th in 21:41.7. Joe Chinkeefatt was 21st in 21:44.5. Trevor Booth was 26th in 22:37.6. Andrew Stephens was 28th in 22:54.0.

Tahj Willis was 41st in 27:23.3. Justin Snider was 42nd in 27:30.5. Zack Sheely was 45th, Tyler Willis was 48th and Ashton Smith was 49th.

The Cavalier girls finished sixth with 167 points. White Lake Lakeland was first with 30, Goodrich was second with 43, Swartz Creek was third with 88, Lake Fenton was fourth with 89 and Kearsley was fifth with 146.

Laura Depew was 38th in 28:20.6. Niajah Hood was 48th in 30:08.6. Devin Foster was 50th in 30:46.1.

Crystal Scott was 53rd in 31:03.5. D’Mya Mason was 54th in 31:05.9. Chante Boyd was 57th in 31:47.7 and Bailey Curtis was 60th in 34:11.2. — K.W.

GOLF

Carman-Ainsworth shot 207 to finish fourth in a Saginaw Valley League 9-hole jamboree Sept. 1 at Lapeer Country Club. Mikaila Garrison shot 48, Taylor Jarnigin 50, Madysen League 53 and Alanna Gleason 56 for the Cavs.

Lapeer won the jamboree with 175. Davison and Flint Powers Catholic both shot 178, with Davison taking second place on the fifth-golfer tiebreaker.

The teams are scheduled to play in another SVL jamboree hosted by Flint Northwestern today. – D.N.
