The Carman-Ainsworth boys’ swim team tied for 13th out of 16 teams at the Fenton Relays with 74 points last Saturday, which was the opening meet of the season. Novi won the meet with 396, Lake Orion was second with 344 and Fenton was third with 316. Howell was fourth with 268, Bay City Western was fifth with 264, White Lake Lakeland was sixth with 256, Milford was seventh with 248, Hartland was eighth with 236, Haslett was ninth with 196, Berkley was 10th with 172, Ortonville-Brandon was 12th with 138, Carman-Ainsworth was 13th with 74, Holly was tied for 13th with 74, Lapeer was 15th with 68 and Flint Powers was 16th with 50.

Carman-Ainsworth was fifth in the 200-yard freestyle, 11th in the 400-yard IM, 10th in the 850-yard crescendo, 12th in the 200-yard breaststroke and 12th in the 400-yard freestyle.

The Cavs host Davison at 6 p.m. tomorrow and Holly on Tuesday. – K.R.
