The Cavaliers lost to Davison on Saturday with the boys falling 21.5-8.5 and the girls 28-2. – B.P.

SWIM

The Cavaliers defeated Lapeer on Thursday in a close 87-83 final that came down to the last event and fell to Midland 99-70 in a dual match up against Lapeer and Midland.

Against Lapeer, Chase Matusik, Pangerl, Brennan Robertson and Koegel placed first with 2:00.50 and Nathan Ratysnski, Katie Speaks, Dollinger and Koegel were third in 2:21.41 in the 200-medley relay. Natalie Cook was second in the 200 free in 2:11.04, Aaron Cadarette was fourth in 2:39.00 and Ahamad Rutherferd was sixth in 2:48.42.

In the 200 IM, Mary Dollinger was third in 3:09.47 and Lily Dollinger was fourth in 3:25.69. Carson Koegel was first with 23.81 in the 50 free, Wyatt Pangerl was third in 26.01 and Chase Matusik was sixth in 28.13. Brennan Robertson was first in the 100 fly in 1:11.91 and Andrew Fox was second in 1:24.60. In the 100 free, Carson Koegel was first in 54.98, Connor Heaton was third in 1:03.96 and Cadarette was sixth in 1:08.99. Cook was second in the 500 free in 5:50.73 and Olivia Van Duyne was fourth in 7:37.99.

In the 200 relay, Pangerl, Cook, Robertson and Koegel were second in 1:44.00, Ratynski, Fox, Matusik and Heaton were third in 1:54.80, and Koegel Rutherford, Dollinger and Cadarette were fifth in 2:03.82. In the 400 relay, Cook, Heaton, Fox and Robertson were first in 4:16.78 and Rutherferd, Speaks, Cadarette and Koegel were second in 4:53.28.

Ratynski was second in 1:20.93 in the 100 back. Matusik was third in 1:24.65 and Mary Dollinger was sixth in 1:32.32. In the 100 breast, Wyatt Pangerl was first in 1:12.80, Speaks was fifth in 1:28.95 and Lily Dollinger was sixth in 1:35.85.

Against Midland, Pangerl, Matusik, Robertson and Koegel were second in the 200-medley relay, finishing in 2:00.50 and Ratysnki, Speaks, Dollinger and Koegel were fourth in 2:21.41. In the 200 relay, Pangerl, Cook, Robertson and Koegel were first in 1:44.00, Ratynski, Fox, Matusik and Heaton were third in 1:54.80 and Koefel, Rutherferd, Dollinger and Cadarette were sixth in 2:03.82. In the 400 relay, Cook, Heaton, Fox and Robertson were second in 4:16.78 and Rutherferd, Speaks, Cadarette and Koegel were fourth in 4:53.28.
