SWIM AND DIVE

The Cavaliers’ swim team faced Flint Powers and Lapeer in a dual meet on Feb. 7, with Carman-Ainsworth defeating Lapeer 89-87 and falling to Flint Powers 108-62.

Against Powers, Natalie Cook was second in 2:11.29 in the 200 free, Connor Heaton was fifth in 2:29.33 and Andrew Fox was sixth in 2:42.50. In the 200 IM, Katie Speaks was third in 2:59.83, Mary Dollinger was fourth in 3:23.67 and Lily Dollinger was fifth in 3:32.58. In the 50 free, Carson Koegel was second in 24.10, Wyatt Pangerl was third in 25.86, and Chase Matusik was fifth in 28.10. In the 100 fly, Brennan Robertson was third in 1:20.52 and Cox was fourth in 1:29.97. Koegel was second in 55.34 in the 100 free, Heaton was fourth in 1:03.33 and Matusik was sixth in 1:05.90. In the 500 free, Cook was third in 5:52.72 and Olivia Van Duyne was fifth in 7:56.29. In the 100 back, Nathan Ratynski was second in 1:21.85, Matusik was fourth in 1:27.25 and Mary Dollinger was fifth in 1:30.41. In the 100 breast, Pangerl was second in 1:15.71 and Speaks was fifth in 1:30.2.

In the 200 medley relay, Ratynski, Pangerl, Robertson and Koegel were first in 2:02.15 and Matusik, Speaks, Dollinger and Koegel were third in 2:26.91. In the 200 relay, Pangerl, Robertson, Cook and Koegel were second in 1:45.17 and Ratynski, Fox, Matusik and Heaton were fourth in 1:54.07. In the 400 relay, Cook, Heaton, Fox and Robertson were third in 4:22.70 and Rutherferd, Dollinger, Ratynski and Koegel were fourth in 4:53.21.

Against Lapeer, Cook was first in 2:11.29 in the 200 free, Heaton was third in 2:29.33 and Fox was fifth in 2:42.50. In the 200 IM, Speaks was second in 2:59.83, Mary Dollinger was third in 3:23.67 and Lily Dollinger was sixth in 3:32.58. In the 50 free, Koegel was first in 24.10, Pangerl was third in 25.86 and Matusik was sixth in 28.10. In the 100 fly, Robertson was first in 1:20.52 and Fox was third in 1:29.97. Koegel was first in 55.34 in the 100 free, Heaton was fourth in 1:03.33 and Matusik was fifth in 1:05.90. In the 500 free, Cook was second in 5:52.72 and Van Duyne was fourth in 7:56.29. In the 100 back, Ratynski was second in 1:21.85, Mautsik was third in 1:27.25 and Mary Dollinger was fourth in 1:30.41. Pangerl was first in 1:15.71 and Speaks was fourth in 1:30.29.

In the 200 medley relay, Ratynski, Pangerl, Robertson and Koegel were first in 2:02.15 and Matusik, Speaks, Dollinger and Koegel were fourth in 2:26.91. In the 200 relay, Pangerl, Robertson, Cook and Koegel were second in 1:45.17, Ratynski, Fox, Matusik and Heaton were third in 1:54.07. In the 400 relay, Cook, Heaton, Fox and Robertson were first in 4:22.70 and Rutherferd, Dollinger, Ratynski and Koegel were third in 4:53.21. – K.R.
