Ruggero’s hosting C-A Foundation benefit





 

 

FLINT TWP. — Tickets are now available for the first annual Community Auction for Kids, sponsored by the Carman-Ainsworth Education Foundation, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, April 17 at Ruggero’s, 5311 Corunna Road.

The silent auction is being held in honor of Peggy (Skaff) Anderson in recognition of her 21 years of service on the C-A board of education. Anderson also is an education foundation board member.

Future plans aim to continue to honor special alumni, staff and/or business and community leaders at the annual event.

This year’s event will feature a strolling dinner, cash bar and silent auction. Many individuals and business have generously donated products and services to be auctioned off. Those include an area rug, jewelry, a Brandon Carr item, sculpture, photo sessions, car washes, gift baskets, salon services, quilted items, prayer shawl and event tickets.

Also gift cards from Chef 4 the Day, Blackstone’s, Signature Chop House, Italia Gardens, Flint Crepe Company, 501 Bar & Grill, Table & Tap, Mario’s, Wild Birds Speedway and more.

All proceeds will go to the advancement of educational opportunities for Carman-Ainsworth Kids.

Admission is a tax-deductible donation of $25 donation per person. Prepayments and RSVP’s are due by Tuesday, April 14.
