GRAND BLANC — Smetanka Craft Show will be at Grand Blanc High School’s East Campus, 12500 Holly Road, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13. Ink for Animals

GRAND BLANC TWP. — Millennial Ink and the Humane Society of Genesee County are teaming up for a fundraiser for the animal shelter and adoption organization from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, and Sunday, Nov. 14, at Millennial Ink, 5337 Dort Highway.

Tattoo artists will do $35 black with one other color pre-drawn animal tattoos. Additional colors are $5 each. A portion of each tattoo will be donated to the Humane Society. 5050/ raffle and HSGC shirts available for purchase. — L.R.

Cooking with Ming

GRAND BLANC — The Genesee District Library will host Cooking with Ming from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the Grand Blanc-McFarlen Library, 515 Perry Road.

Luncheon with author

GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP — The Grand Blanc Women’s Club will host Steve Johnson with author Jacquie Richardson who will speak about his book, “Miracle Off the Field,” on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the Flint Elks Club, 7177 E. Maple Ave. Copies of the book will be available for sale.

A jewelry sale will take place at 11:30 a.m. sponsored by Lorri V Jewelry. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Cost: $15.

Feed the bus

GRAND BLANC — Please Join FISH of Grand Blanc and help fill the bus to offset the increased number of requests for holiday help.

Volunteers will accept donations of cereal, canned and boxed meals, hygiene products, toilet paper and tissue, laundry and cleaning products and other non-perishable items from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Grand Blanc High School, 11920 S. Saginaw St.

The food drive takes place in partnership with Sam’s Club, the Grand Blanc Community Schools, and the City of Grand Blanc and Grand Blanc Township police and fire departments.

Donations benefit the FISH food Pantry and residents of the Grand Blanc Community Schools district.
