Flint Youth Theatre to Host Season Announcement Party
FLINT —The public is cordially invited to the Flint Youth Theatre (FYT) on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for the 2017-18 Season Announcement Party! This event will be held at the Flint Youth Theatre, located at 1220 E Kearsley St, Flint, Michigan, and is free to attend. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails will be provided. The party kicks off with a meet and greet in the Elgood Theater Lobby. Tunes at Noon underway
FLINT – Plan to bring your lunch any day, Monday through Friday, from now until Aug. 18, and enjoy a sumptuous banquet of jazz, blues, rock, gospel and more performed by talented Michigan musicians. “Once you get a taste of our free concerts, you’ll want to keep coming back for more,” promises Greg Fiedler, President and CEO of the Greater Flint Arts Council. “The music starts at 11:45am and keeps flowing until about a quarter past one in the afternoon. Again, this year, Tunes at Noon will be staged in the serenity and shade of Willson Park, sandwiched between the University of Michigan-Flint and the Flint Farmers’ Market on Kearsley and First Streets. Adopt-A-Pet Holds Picnic
FENTON – Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton is holding its 13th Annual Picnic fundraiser July 15, from 3-10 p.m. The event will be held on-site at 13575 N. Fenton Rd., Fenton, MI 48430, and will help raise money to provide needed services for the hundreds of dogs and cats who enter their care. The Annual Adopt-A-Pet Picnic offers family-oriented fun, complete with BBQ food and refreshments, kid’s activities with a bounce house, beer tent, live music and tours of the facility. Fundraising activities include a 50/50 raffle and silent auction with basket raffles including movie passes, animal care packages, lottery ticket basket and more. There is a minimum $10 per person donation to attend.
