BAY CITY – The Swartz Creek/Clio/Flushing hockey team, (12-10), opened the postseason at the Bay County Civic Arena in Bay City on Wednesday, following VIEW deadlines, against the winner of Bay City, 6-20-1, and Saginaw Swan Valley (13- 12). If SCF won, it move on to Saturday’s regional title game against Grand Blanc. 1-24, which beat Kearsley/ Brandon/Holly 2-17 in the pre-regional, or Alliance (LakeVille/Goodrich/Imlay City/Dryden/North Branch), 23-1.

OTHER GAMES: SCF wrapped up the regular season on the road on Saturday, topping the Eastside Stars, 7-1. Brian Knack put up two goals and three assists, Joe Montpas added two goals and Conner McLeod, Kamryn Houle and Dyland Houle found the back of the net once each.
