FLINT TWP. – Cars heading southbound on I-75 Friday (May 26) may have found themselves stuck in a traffic jam after a semi-truck crashed and rolled over across the southbound lanes.
Southbound I-75 at Corunna Road, just north of Exit 118, in was blocked due to a semi-truck rollover. Police and emergency crews were still cleaning up and investigating the wreck, at 2 p.m., which left the semi-truck on its side.
Some traffic was able to pass the crash site on the left shoulder, but heavy holiday weekend traffic was moving through on the left and center lanes.
She also said drivers are able to get off southbound I-75 at Corunna Road.
The truck may have been hauling dirt. It is not yet known what caused the driver to crash, nor if he or she sustained any injuries.
The crash happened at approximately 10 a.m. Further details were unavailable. – G.G.
