FLINT TWP. — Tickets are going fast for the third annual Pig Roast at the Carman-Ainsworth Senior Citizens Center on Graham Road, from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20. Only 100 tickets will be sold at $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

It is a major fundraiser for the center, said interim director Pam Luna. There is good food, great donated door prizes and goodie bags for the seniors, she said.

Despite the name, the meat is roasted in an oven rather than on a spit.

Luna said the event is supported by donations from several local businesses and health care providers.

For more information, call the center at 810-732-6290 or stop by at 2071 S. Graham Road.
