FLINT TWP. — Patrick Sharp won two freestyle events to lead Carman- Ainsworth/Flushing in a 123- 63 swimming and diving loss to Saginaw Heritage last Friday. Sharp took the 50-yard freestyle in 23.12 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 51.37.

Chris Michael was second in diving with 190.35 points, and Zak Wilkins placed second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.63. The Cavaliers also were second in two relays, as James Napier, Wilkins, Kent Crawley and CJ Ratliff clocked 2:06.53 in the 200 medley relay, and Sharp, Blake McDonald, David Burckheart and Erick VanDuyne went 3:45.25 in the 400 free relay.

VanDuyne was third in both the 200 free in 2:04.95 and the 100 free in 56.69. McDonald was third in the 200 individual medley in 2:28.44, and Burckheart placed third in the 100 butterfly in 1:11.03. Johnny Donnelly took third in the 500 free in 6:05.68.

The Cavaliers will swim in the County Meet today through Saturday at Fenton. — D.N.
